Policies, written so you can actually book

Private adult photography in Richmond, West London. These are the studio rules in plain English — who can shoot, what a deposit does, who owns the pictures, and how we keep the room discreet. Effective 4 September 2026.

1. Website and studio terms

These terms are between you and Julia Winter Studio Ltd, company number 16988862, registered office 13 Woodman Mews, Richmond, TW9 4AH. We make private boudoir, nude, erotic and explicit photography and video, plus editing, albums, galleries, model coordination, courses and membership.

Contact: the form on this website, 07775 093888, or the email sent when you enquire. Paying a deposit or attending a session means you accept these terms. Your quote in writing is what you are buying — if it is not on the quote, it is not included.

Arrive on time. Do not bring extra people unless agreed. Follow safety direction on set. We run a closed room and will not publish identifiable pictures of you without your written yes. Liability for a booking is limited to the studio fees paid for that booking, except where UK law does not allow a limit. English law applies. Consumer statutory rights stay intact.

2. Privacy policy

We are the data controller. We collect name, contact details, booking notes, a record that we saw 18+ ID, payment references, the pictures you commission, and ordinary website logs.

We use that data to run your booking, take payment, deliver files, keep legally required records, and send news only if you opt in. Nude and sexual images are sensitive: they exist because you asked for them. They are not used to train public AI models. We do not sell lists.

We share data only with payment tools, printers when you order an album, a make-up artist or model who needs that day’s information, and hosts such as Squarespace. Booking and invoice records are kept around six years. You can ask for a copy, a correction or deletion via the contact form. Complaints: ICO, ico.org.uk. Essential cookies run the site; analytics cookies wait for the banner.

3. Booking, deposits, cancellation and refunds

A date is held when the stated deposit clears. Model search starts only after that. Deposits are usually 30–50% of the studio fee and count toward the total.

• More than 14 days’ notice: one free date change, or deposit back minus any model retainer already paid out.
• 8–14 days: deposit kept. Unused studio balance not charged if we re-let. Model retainers already paid are not refunded by us.
• 7 days or fewer, or no-show: deposit kept; remaining studio fee may still be due if we cannot re-let.
• If we cancel: unused studio fees back, or a new date. No penalty to you.

After a shoot, we do not refund because you later feel shy or dislike a pose you asked for. We will fix or refund a product that is technically unusable because of a studio fault. Distance-selling cooling-off ends once a dated session is performed or digital files are supplied with your agreement to start.

4. Prints, albums and delivery

The session is not posted. Albums and prints ship tracked in the UK after you approve selects. Tell us within 7 days of damage in transit. International buyers pay customs. Outer packaging is plain. Digital galleries arrive by private link.

5. Digital licence — what you can do with the pictures

Default: copyright stays with the studio. You get a personal-use licence in the finished files you paid for — phone, private album, partner, prints for your home. Not for sale, not for stock, not to advertise a business or performer page unless you buy a commercial licence. Raws are not included unless quoted.

Want the copyright itself? Ask before the shoot. That is a buy-out with a different price. Studio marketing use of your face only happens with your written permission. You can refuse, or allow cropped / faceless frames only.

6. Age restriction

No one under 18 books, attends, waits in the suite, appears on camera, or enters the member gallery. Bring photo ID. We will stop a session if we cannot confirm age.

7. Content disclaimer

Public pages and the member library show adult work, some of it explicit. It is example craft, not a promise to copy another client’s private session, and not therapy advice. We do not create work involving anyone under 18, non-consent, or real harm.

8. Consent, confidentiality and NDA

You set the temperature of the session. You can stop any setup. In a couple, both people must stay willing.

Default confidentiality (no extra fee): we do not name you or publish identifiable pictures without permission. Models and make-up artists on that day are told the same.

Strict NDA: ask for the one-page signed version if you need it in writing (public job, extra anonymity). It is two-way. It does not block a disclosure the law requires.

9. Membership

Optional, 18+, one login per person. Content is for private viewing — do not rip or republish it. Cancel before renewal to stop the next payment. Shared logins and abuse of models or staff can close an account.

10. Models

Studio-booked models are contracted by us and paid before work starts, at the fee on your quote. Their release lets us shoot and deliver your personal files. It does not let you use their face to sell a page or product without a commercial licence and their extra written yes.

If you bring a model, you confirm they are 18+ and willing. We may still ask for a short on-the-day release so we can edit and deliver.

11. Commercial and exhibition licences

Performer portfolios, ads, paid social, press and gallery hangs are extras. Territory, term and exclusivity go on the quote. Identifiable client or model exhibition needs written consent.

12. Copyright protection

Scraping the library or reselling sets without a licence is infringement. We watermark proofs, send takedowns, and can refuse future work. If you think we used your work by mistake, write to us with the URL.

13. Studio code of conduct

• A photoshoot is not automatically a sexual service.
• No secret recording. Phones follow the photographer’s rule that day.
• No illegal drugs. No arriving unable to consent.
• No harassment of models, artists, neighbours or staff.
• Say so immediately if a setup is wrong for you.

We will end an unsafe or abusive session. Fees follow the cancellation rules above.

14. Artistic freedom

You are hiring a point of view. We may refuse a brief that looks unlawful, involves a possible minor, needs hidden recording of a third person, or that we cannot do well. Pictures will not clone someone else’s website, and they are not medical correction.
