Under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 (UK), all photographs and video footage created during the photoshoot are legally recognised as artistic works.
The artist (Julia Winter Studio) is the legal author and primary copyright holder of all created artwork. Copyright does not automatically transfer to the client, regardless of payment for the photoshoot.
2. Shared Copyright (Standard Premium Agreement). All premium packages include a shared copyright arrangement, defined as follows:
The artist retains full artistic authorship and moral rights. The client receives a personal-use licence. Images and videos may be used privately and personally only.
Commercial use, resale, publication, or third-party use is prohibited without written consent. This structure protects both artistic integrity and client enjoyment.
3. Copyright Buy-Out (Optional). Clients may request a full copyright transfer for an additional fee.
